My company filed for my PERM EB2 yesterday, haven't gotten the confirmation email yet although case shows as "in process". I've read in another thread that in-process status means that case is Ok and moving. Hope to get the conf email soon and get over with that one.

After a 3 year wait the freaking attorney dared
to tell me that will reply within next few days...
Get another job as soon as possible !
And file another LC with new company.
I doubt they will keep holding to your stuff once they've decided to get rid of you.
Remember, for you to stay in US under H1 visa beyond 6th year you must have LC filed over one year.

Imho, getting over with LC asap is a good thing because:
1. No more hassle due to job postings, ads, letters, etc. which stresses dependency to your current job/sponsor
2. Once 485 is filed there is tiny probability it will get withdrawn/denied/etc. along with the fact you're done with...
