    Going for CP while after 6 Yr H1 extn is on hold

    Has anyone left US for CP, while their H-1 extension was pending (actually on hold!) after 6 years? I am going to be in the same boat in another month, and would like to hear any (bad) experiences .. (like, if consulate understands the status to be OK, and doesn\'t make fuss about it etc ..)
