    Yes I can just use my EAD, but I think its safer to hold on to your H1 status till I-485 is approved. If you dont agree please let me know your thoughts.

    Folks, My H1B(6th year) is expiring on Jan 2005. My I-140,I-485,EAD and AP were concurrently filed using a pre-approved labor(Labor Substitute). Now since my 1-140 was approved on 08/02/2004 am I eligible for 7 th year H1B extension ? Thanks in advance.
