Does anyone have an answer? My lawyer informed me that since I got a request for FP2, that my case was pulled from the file and that necessary security checks and eligibility criteria were cleared. Otherwise, they would not have sent the FP2 notice.

There still seems to be a lot of confusion still on the exact processing date at VSC. My lawyer says it is Nov 12 and that the Jun 03 is an error. What are you all hearing from the VSC and your lawyers?

I think that they screwed up. I am now seeing the update date revert back to Oct 6 and processing date to Nov 12, 2002. I think they were just "kidding". I am surprised that the update date was changed for all centers and reverted back for all centers.

I have been observing the approval trend on rupnet and this chat room. Majority of the approvals seems to be for '03 filers. I have also heard that VSC is trying to ensure that they don't have to send out FP2, which could be leading them to approve '03 cases and sit on '02 cases.

Are all 485 cases handled at the same speed? Are there differences by employment based (EB1, EB2, etc.) and by family based?
