I never changed address. USCIS never sent the fingerprints. My lawyer is working on paperwork to re-open the case. At the same time, he is trying to get in touch with 'Director of Quality Control' at USCIS to re-open the case...

Did you return recently ? My attorney says the INS is taking it seriously and its safe not to travel, if one is expecting the I-485 approval anytime.
Can I know your port of entry city.
If the I-485 is approved while the person is in overseas, can he / she comeback using the advance parole ? Can anykind of problems be expected at the port of entry. Did anybody face this kind of situation before ?
