If u are on H1 and pending , Passport renewal will take 15 days. if U are on H1 and have h1 approval notice, it will take 1 day. if u have EAD , passport renewal will take 1 day.

Seems USCIS working overnight on the cases. Checked my mails today morning. Received 4 mails of approvals sent on Aug 2nd 11:00 PM. May be some batch jobs updating the Database. :) Guys hang in there....Everybody will get it... This is a great community and have been doing excellent job...

Carry your GC approval letter and ask for renewal for 10 years. U will get new one with old u one attached. Submit before 11:00...- 11:30 you will get same day between 4:15 to 5:00 PM.. Otherwise the next day. If you do not carry ur approval letter, they will ask for H1(doc and valid visa...

This is unique situation..I will be having fingerprinting on 1st June,2004. My passport expires on 8th June 2004. I went to NY colsulate and since my H1 is still pending for approval, they will take 2 weeks to give new passport and will only issue for 1 year. So new passport may not be able to...
