a friend recently got this from his lawyer that for concurrent cases, INS will not approve I140 before I485 is adjusticated. not sure how true it is, but perhaps for your case also, they will approve your I140 and I485 at the same time.

The RFE for I140 will be sent to Employer/lawyer if you haven't changed lawyer. It could be that your previous employer sent notice to INS so INS wants more info. Perhaps you should send INS AC21 letter.

mnl_gcquest, Just read your thread today, it may be too late but I still want to say that I have different viewpoint on your case. If your old employer send letter to revoke your I140, it may not cause final denial of your I485, but quite possible it will complicate your case and take long time...
