Dates changed to 8/20/07 on both 485 Applications. Somethings happening after 2.5 years. Yeah!!!

Ead renewal We renewed the EAD for the 3 rd time BUt surprise is that they approved it in 8 days. That was something. AP is also being renewed But no news yet. If only they processed the GC applications this fast.

Same here my spouse's LUD changed too on 10/28/06, no message changes. Well that means something is happening and I am assuming it is for good. Better than the same old security check news.

Question Does anybody know what they mean by "visa Numbers are unavailable"???? They had visa numbers available till Jan 03 for EB2 in last months bulletin. What hapened now? Someone pressed a reset button or what? This wait is killing me.

After finger print update, I dont think there will be any more updates until they recieve the security check back from FBI. So the next I see an update I hope it would mean we are another step closer. May be not too who knows what USCIS does at VSC. Hoepfully we will get there some day this year.

If at any time a new I-94 is issued, all the other I-94's are invalid, the whole point of giving a new I-94 is that you can stay in US until the date specified. I still doubt that on using AP, H1B is still valid. BUT I could be wrong too, my attorney says H1B becomes invalid.

gcbee, My Attorney suggested the same and we had to get a special appointment for the visa interview at the consulate in India to get my H1 stamp. The problem here is if you use AP, then your H1 is not valid anymore. To work you will need EAD,, which means your stay in US is now valid only...

Yep this is going on fine. I had applied for renewal of both appl for my wife on Nov 22 05 and both were approved in 15 days. No issues , no FP's no RFE's etc that was really surprising as I heard everyone has to do FP for a renewed EAD. Anyway no complains.

Any clue Gurus, Does anybody have a clue what retrogression is all about? I heard, if your 140 is already approved, then it doesnt apply, they will still process all 485 applications as per the dates published. If anyone hasnt got their visa numbers yet, those are the only ones in trouble...
