    budboy, we were at the Atlanta office for stamping I551 last week and we too did not fill out any form. We were asked to give our fingerprints and sign just like you. What's happening here? Why the difference ? Anyone can shed some light??Its really got me worried!!

Infact called up the French consulate in Atlanta today, the lady confirmed that I would not need a transit visa, I did mention I would just have the stamp and not the plastic card.     Transit visa for Paris

    Planning to visit India in November. Would I require a transit visa for Paris if I have an I 551 stamp on the passport i.e. the temporary green card?? Has anyone travelled via Paris with a GC stamp? I am not sure whether I will get my plastic card by then. Please advice!!

    Anyone with experience please throw some light whether original I 485 receipt is required for PP stamping or a copy will do. Also is courtesy copy of aproval ok for stamping in Atlanta? Thanks in advance for your responses!!

    LUD stopped changing! (ND:06/02, FP:09/04)

    Our LUD kept changing for the entire month of August and then we got approved on Sept 27(email) and Oct 2( approval by snail mail), so happy days are ahead for you. All the best!! :)

    Can we get stamped without appointment in Atlanta?

    We got our appointment scheduled for mid October. On the confirmation it says that we will not be admitted before 15 mins. prior to the scheduled time. So I guess taking an appointment would be a wise option. And it is pretty easy, you can schedule it online.
