I just spoke to my lawyer.. he said he did not get the 45 day letter

I have been reading the posts for past couple of days. people have been talking about the second scenario but what if PERM is okayed and is implemented. In that case, can we transfer our normal cases to PERM and how fast will that process be?

No, he has no idea when Perm will be implemented.. he said best thing to do for now is to WAITTTTTT....

It has been Dec 17th since more than 2 weeks.. so, I don't think we can consider it moving.. I talked to my lawyer today.. he said we will have to wait... I asked him if Chicago doesn't process DOL cases, can we change it to PERM once it is effective.. He said we can do so..

Great news that DOL is moving forward.. I was worried yesterday when I read CHicago DOL has put hold on IT cases.. :)

hmm.. so, they are processing dec 17th.. hopefully they will move to January pretty quickly because of the holiday season at that time..

nylabor yes, it takes around 2 - 3 months to get the case no. I filed on Sep12 and I got the case no. end of december
