Need info - visitor visa "stamp" extention
I have heard that unless it is "ABSOLUTELY " unavoidable, one should generally not go for the extention. The reasons I have heard are: 1. Next time, the stamp could be even shorter 2. Potential issues could arise if the person who visits is going to apply for a PR (Green Card) in the future...- himanshutamane

Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to extend a visitor visa "beyond" the stamp date? My mom arrived yesterday, her intended stay being 4.5 months. She showed her return ticket as well.
