Our cases are updated in early May but not see anything actually updated after almost 4 weeks. I haven't submitted any application to CIS. Hopfully someone is touching our cases. Anyone has similar situation. Thanks.

I think that if you use EAD now, you will lost non-immigrant status which means that you can't save H1 time. This is why lawyers always suggest not use EAD if you have valid H1. Be careful. Maybe I am wrong!

I guess that you can't and you don't have to. Since you use EAD working for one year, you lost non-immigrant status so you can't extend your H4(non-immigrant visa) but you are legal since you filed I-485. Just keep renewing your EAD until your I485 is approved. Hope that your husband still uses...

Re: Hopefully Everybody deserves to be approved once filed more than 6 months. If someone suffers pains, it is not early-approved filer's fault. I wish everybody good luck and approved soon. I am still waiting the magic words as you guys.

Is this your 1st FP or 2nd FP? If this is first one, it seems too late OR if this is the second one, it seems too early (taking 15 months expiration)

Re: 15 months Thanks. Looks like that vidongre got 1st FP on 03/14/02, the 2nd FP should be 06/14/02 (I mean about that time) but it is 3 months late (you got it on 09/15/03 which is exactly 18 months). Not sure if it is always 15 months. Maybe INS doesn't issue the FP immediately like...
