Sometimes it happens.
Mine got stamped in SJC on 10/25/2004. They entered my wife's wac # in my Son's passport. When i went there with infopass to correct it they simply striked it out and wrote the correct number in the passport and told that even I could have done that.
Today my wife...
I got my stamping done yesterday. In the excitement I forgot to verify the A# and later in the evening I found out that the A# mentioned in my son's passport is wrong. What shall I do now. Wait for the plastic card or go back and correct it? If I have to go back should I take infopass for this...
Just did my stamping today morning. Not much crowd at 7.30 am in San Jose. Everyone was very cordial and got stamped for 3 of us in 30 minutes. Tony has provided all the details so nothing much to add.
Good luck to all the guys who are waiting and hopefully everyone in this forum get their...

Hi Pralay,
How does he can find out that this is because of some other issues - like job description (in LC), companies inability to pay etc. The denial notice doesn't mention anything.
My friend received the following from USCIS:
"This notice is in ref to Form I-485 that was filed pursuant to section 245 of the INS act. You filed this form based on a concurrent filing of form I-140
8CFR 245 a2i states, in pertinent part:
Before an application for adjustment of status...
Thanks rk4gc for the feedback.
qdotlu - its just a matter of time for you to get approval. Is your case concurrent or non-concurrent. My friend who filed in 04/2004 has got his LUD's now. Also pls check whether USCIS have your latest address in their file.
A million thanks to ImmigrationPortal.com and to Rajiv Khanna and all the pioneers behind the lawsuit which resulted in the reduction of processing times - atleast for I-485 in CSC. I have been to this site for the past two years and its great volunteers like Kashmir, I140 takesforever...
Just wait..... there is no standard. I am also waiting the trend for approval after RFE is like this:
1. two weeks after response
2. two months after response
3. along with the 2nd F.P
4. after responding to 2nd RFE
5. hopfully not more than 6 months from now.
Mostly it should be for your tax returns. Instead of the W2, they might be asking for the tax return forms that you signed and submitted to IRS. Better check with your attorney to be on the safe side.
Today my status changed to :
'On September 30, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 660 and 660 days for us to process this kind of case.........'
What next - how long does it take for it to get approved??
In my case the FP is still valid till mid next year. Do you think that 2nd FP is a must before approval?
How long does it take to get approved after responding to the RFE.
Following are some of them:
1. W2's (probably for the past 3 years)
2. Pay stubs (past 6 months)
3. Employment veification letter
4. Contract between your company and client (if its a consulting co.)
5. Birth Certificate
6. Marriage Certificate
7. Medical (TB test failed)
That's all...
The way in which it looks like they are asking for a salary certificate. Ask your company to provide a letter stating that your salary is so and so. Also ask them to include if there are any other remunerations like bonus..TA etc..
Just now I talked to the attorney. It is for EVL and last 3 years w2's. From the way it sounds it looks good - thats what the attorney said. Lets wait and see
Done..
Indeed he deserves it. I was so fascinated to see the minute details of how BCIS works during the cross examination done by Rajiv Khanna which is posted in this site.
