Thanks for your responses! I managed to speak to an NVC operator. She was surprised that the Consulated had not contacted them yet, asking them to resend the file. She asked me to fax the email I recd from the Consulate to NVC - fax #603-334-0791; and they would re-send the file.

The automated voice response system at NVC says that my file was processed and sent to the Consulate in Mumbai on November 13th 2003. However the Mumbai Consulate says they have no record of my case/they have not received it. From what I gather from other posts, it should not take more than a...
