I initiated a SR in August and got a response today from USCIS. Instead of the usual 6 months letter, this time around I got one which said, "we are doing additional reviews ..... if you do not hear from us in 3 months..." The response to my previous SR had the usual wait for 6 months. So...

In my wife's case responded to a RFE and never had any updates.

Spoke to my attorney who in turn spoke to an IO. Confirmed that RFE was sent out and its getting delayed reaching the attorney offices these days.

The first RFE was the missing TB test result, which the doctor missed to fill in.

Same for my spouse. Second RFE issued on 10/3 and yet to receive it.

Sit tight for 6 months, open an inquiry again and get the same letter to wait for 6 month more months, repeat the cycle. need_green_card --> I have done this cycle twice and there is absolutely nothing you can do !!

Same thing for my spouse. First RFE was sent in July and we responded to it. Yesterday we received an email and a LUD about a RFE being sent out. Totally confused to see 2 RFE's within a span of 3 months and my case stuck in name check for 3.5 years !!

Has anyone got 2 RFE's within a span of 4 months? My wife received her second RFE email today. Earlier in July'2007 she got her first RFE to which we responded.

I don't think you need all your I-94's. You just need to send the current I-94.

Oh crap ... if they did so then all the folks here in this forum would have seen RFE's. One of those crappy urban legend's eh !

Question on intent to deny. When you receive an intent to deny from the USCIS, while you are on an EAD/AOS status (expired H1), do you become ineligible to work? Do I have to quit my job because of this intent to deny?
