My PD is Apr 27 2001

My I-485 was filed in Oct'02. Two weeks ago i did my 3rd time FP(code 2). Priority date is Apr 01. Not sure if there will be any progress after my FP.

I submitted the EAD renewal(3rd EAD) papers by regular mail, sometime last week of Sep. I got the approval on Oct 14th and rcvd the card in mail last week. I am glad that at least they are approving EAD's with out giving hard time to us!

Mostly likely there won't be a change in the LUD after FP. I happened to talk to a immigration officer about my pending AP and i asked her is she can verify that my FP was rcvd or not....she said that they rcvd it on the same day i did FP.....and she said that sometimes the LUD won't change for...

It's still not too late. It happended me too last year, ended up getting RFE to send all pages of my passport. So, when you send your supp docs attach a letter indicating that you made a mistake and don't forget to send all pages of your passport ....which is the evidence that you are not a US...

I did call the 1800 number, day 1 it was the same msg same as you and i tired the second day ...i guess it was wednesday and i was connected to a TSC person...i chose the RFE inquiry option since i had a RFE for AP....she said that she will email the officer who is assigned for my AP...

I e-filed for AP last month, i didn't have to make an appt for photo....you don't need to take an appt...all you have to do is mail the supp docs along with your photos...thats it....i got the approval also.....appt is needed only for EAD i think.....

I got the same kind of msg for the AP application, guess what, i got RFE notice in 2 weeks! Anything could happen with TSC..who knows

My brother got the aproval 2 days before he travel to india, but he just used AP and came back and stamped with out any issues....hope this helps!

My wife and i got RFE letter y'day asking for color photos....we did e-file and sent all the supp docs with photos....looks like the supp docs package didn't reach the officer.....have to take photos again and send it to them........
