So it it okay to travel between fingerprinting and interview? No issues?

Folks, I am in the Naturalization process now (fingerprinting done, awaiting interview). I may have to travel out of the US for a week or so - is this allowed? Do I have to notify USCIS that I am traveling out of country? Thanks

Question Great to put your experience on the site. What documents do you need for the stamping? Do you need photos too? Also, do you feel one needs to go early so that one can get in line quicker? Did you change the SSN card there too?

Re Rajum It is definitely meant as encouragement, and one is always encouraged when one hears of someone else getting approved. At least that's how I think. Thanks to so mnay posters on this site, I have spent many 'encouraged' moments when I read that someone was approved. Good Luck!

re You need to go to the Broad Street office in Newark. Go early, around 6.30-7.00Am. You need your current ead, copy of renewal receipt, and your passport. You might as well keep the h-1 paper since sometimes they ask for it. The whole process takes 4-5 hrs, you have your pic taken etc.

This looks like a long drawn process. What happens if the iEAD is not given on teh same day? Can you go and collect it some other day, or do they send it via email? Also, is there any way to get an appointment and skip the wait? Thanks
