No update on PR card. I know a friend who went 4 weeks ago just received his in mail..but of course his officer had already told him that he will get it in mail AND he landed via peace bridge... But I am expecting a letter to pick it up as I was told that way...AND I landed via peace bridge...

metaman If you have valid visa , no need to worry abt I-94. But usually it is recommended not to submit I-94 for < 30 days as when coming back it is upto the discretion of the Immi officer to allow you in the same I-94 OR issue you a new one.

From what I know , usually the immi officr tells you whether it will be mailed or needs to be picked up.which means that it depends on how he/she set it up. At least I know those who were told that it will arrive in mail did get it in mail.

It really depends on who you get as immi officer. I know people who landed via peace brdge and got their PR cards mailed.

yes I did. I thought they used to mail us the PR card but from my exp I think I was told that I will be asked to pick it up. Do you know of any web site where we can check the status of PR application. I have seen some peoples exp that they were mailed PR card after landing.

we will see how it goes. Did you look at earlier posts where some guy landed by two way rental and he could not land. I dont know how true that is.

metaman where did you read on the post. I dont think they have right to deny you landing if you have all the sufficient documents and proof of funds. Can you be more specific about a specific post which talks about this OR Please do not scare people.

Just to add , my experience of getting PP was based on few months ago where in the letter they mentioned clearly that I need to come in afternoon and I will not get visa same day and that I would get it following thursday. So I guess nowadays they have started giving it back same day.

when I went few months ago they did not give me the visa back on same day , Morever u need to go in afternoon NOT in morning. At least thats what it was mentioned in the letter that I received.
