Travel in the USA using EAD as ID
Alternative ID-only card available from MVS You could apply for and get an ID-only card (not a driver's license) from motor vehicle services (MVS, or department of motor vehicles, DMV, as the case may be) the same day - you can use that for travel.- hswami

H1B Stamping in Canada
From my knowledge, you cannot get visa stamped in any country unless you have some kind of a "permanent resident" status in that country. In this case, you would need PR status in Canada to stamp visa in Canada. Looks like you will have to go to your home country and get your visa stamped there.- hswami

What if spouse is in the US on H-1? What if the spouse is in the US on an H-1B? My wife has applied for her I-485 and has her receipt and it is pending approval. Can I apply for adjustment of status? Is there any way I can work through some kind of temporary work authorization or something?- hswami
