Hello If a company has operations both in US and canada and if there is a position advertised for a short term contract in US for the employees in canada. can a GC holder apply for that position. he would be inside the US working but his payroll will be in canada.

I noticed that the current date (posted nov4) for REP is october 1 2005. so the dates are very close. do people who had applied really get it approved that soon? any body applied recently?
