I got my passport stamped on May 5, 2004 and I haven't received my card yet. Called up INS twice and got the same usual reply which everybody gets.
Meanwhile on Sep 26, 2004 I received a notice from INS for my wife - stating that the finger print which is on the I-89 form is un-identifiable...
asrivang,
I am also waiting for my card. I called National Customer Support Center during first week of August and sent my G-731V enquiry form during August second week... No reply yet. My LUD (05/14/2004) stays at the same date for almost 4 months now.
asrivang, Thanks for your reply. Yesterday I have sent G731V - status inquiry form to VSC. Considering the other cases, I think we are already bit late to receive the cards on hand.
My LUD is 05/14/2004 10 days after my stamping date and there is no change afterwards.
Keep me updated with...
asrivang,
Did you get any update on your card status? I did my stamping more than 90 days ago and still waiting for my card. My LUD is just 5/14/2004 and no more changes. After seeing more and more messages from people (Stamped after my date) about receiving their cards... I am bit concerned...
You are right siyaram...there is no FIFO concept with USCIS.
I did my stamping at Arlington VA, on May 05 2004 and still waiting for the card. Whereas in some cases stamping done in July mid (almost 2 months after my date), started receiving their cards.
My LUD is May 14 and no change...
As of July 28th, There is no change in the case status. Still it displays the same old message - for I-485 approval...."This case has been approved on ......blah blah blah".
Close to 3 months after stamping done and still waiting for the cards.
goastros - What number you use to check...
Don't worry about on-line status messages. I used to get the following message throughout my I-485 process period (For 26 months).
CASE STATUS :
****************************************************************************************************
Processing for your Alien Registration Card...
Plastic card, Stamping at Arlington in May 04
I did my stamping at Arlington, VA on May 5, 2004. It's more than two months and still waiting for the plastic cards. In some cases, people who did their stamping at Baltimore, Newark (in June first week) received their cards.
Is there anyone -...
us_immigrant,
When I went for stamping at Arlington-VA (May 05, 2004), they didn't ask me to show any IDs. I just handed over the I-485 approval notice, passport, EADs, APs, and Photos...That's all.
I know there are difference of opinions on AP document copies (2/3) and the usage at POE.
Let me share my experience...
When I applied for AP1, I received only 2 copies but the second time (AP2) I received 3 copies. It doesn't matter whether you receive 2 or 3...even one copy is enough...
