I am also stuck in the redicule of "detailed review" which only got started 1 yr after the name check request was sent to FBI..do you have any idea what might trigger the detailed review and what are the normal procedure FBI takes to address it?

i am in same boat here...my case was sent for detailed review in FBI in this March, while my i-485 was filed 3/04. called FBI and 800 emerg lines, no response either...FOIPA said no record..will writing to senate or congressman help at all? anyone has a letter tempelate for such purpose?

My LC was transferred to DOL on Oct. 22, 2002. However, I haven't heard any update on my case, still pending. At same time, I have some friends who had their cases transferred to DOL after mine, say, Nov, 2003. Have been approved..what the heck is going on. ANy one has similar experience?
