There is no effect of filing AR11 on 485 approval. Your address is only a technical detail..as per my lawyer and other imm lawyers. The only possiblity is the approval notice/plastic may go to old address and take a while to reach your new address.

Your status is intact is "AOS Pending" till approval. You may not be able to work between the h1 expiry and the ead approval period. Check with you lawyer/company lawyer. SKumar

By Law you can get deported if you don't submit AR11 within 10 days of moving. But I never heard of anyone getting deported because of this. That one missing AR11 is not a problem as long as you filed AR11 with your CURRENT address.

My friend (and his family) got their plastic cards in 4 weeks. Their cases were approved by VSC. Regarding NSC..I think we have to be happy that our cases were approved. NSC has proved to be first in inefficiency. Keep it up NSC!

I was in similar situation..and took transit visa for my wife. Basically her H4 is not valid and so she needs to use AP (hence transit visa for germany is needed). It is a different thing that nobody in germany may realize her H4 is no longer valid..But why take a chance ? Thanks SKumar
