    When to apply for citizenship(N400)

    I have been a Permanent Resident for over 4 yrs and now it is time to think about the citizenship. My question: Am I eligible to apply 90 days before my 5yrs as a permanent resident are up or is that 180days. I heard from somebody that I can apply 6months before my 5yrs are up. please...
