Submitting my H1B visa revalidation, but a bit confused at some of the instructions.
The instructions state to include: "The original or a photocopy of your current, valid Form I-797. A spouse/dependent applying separately from the principal alien must include the original or a photocopy of...
Does anyone have recent experience of how far ahead you have to book an appointment for a visa revalidation interview at the U.S. Embassy in London?
I want to revalidate while I am in the U.K. over Christmas, and am currently looking for flights. I don't want to book an appointment until I...
TX Center
From the postings on this board, seems to take about 5-6 months. I just received mine Friday Aug 22, application received at TX March 27 (so took almost exactly 6 months for approval).
On the DOS Website, for H1 visa revalidation requirements, it says:

I quit December 1999, and went back to UK. I lived and worked in...

I am currently in this situation. For H visas, you have 240 days "grace", during which you are eligible to work (a) provided you submitted a timely application for renewal, and (b) if you hear within the 240 days that you have been denied, you are then no longer eligible to...
I'm awaiting my H1 extension (second 3-year period) approval from Texas (which I see from posts here should be re-named "the black hole"). Submitted late March so looks like will be late August before I hear anything.
Once it arrives, I want to get my "travel visa" (passport stamp) done via...
