Bobsmyth and McTavish, thank you for ur valuable replies. I am surprised other than you two, nobody jumped in. No one else has this issue :)
I signed my mortgage documents also using my normal scribble signature(nobody told me to do use my full name there like N400). I agree with Bobsmyth's...
Gurus,
The instructions for PART11 - YOUR SIGNATURE states
"You should sign your full name without abbreviating it or using initials. The signature must be legible"
My signature that I use all the time is a scrawl which has initials(A.----) and
you can't really read my name. My...
ZHG67320,
Thanks for sharing the info. Can you please give us the information regarding
which senator in KY did you contact and any sample letter which you have
sent to them.
Thanks.
Mani_007,
Did you get any reply for your spouse? My lawyer initated an inquiry last week. I guess we may need to wait till October since the available visa numbers are already used(based on the latest news today)
Do you know any specific reason only a few are asked to give biometric?
My wife went to her home country on January. Did you guys go as well?
Muntasir,
Did you already initiate an inquiry since your RD is Dec 2002?
Mani_007 & Muntasir,
Samething happened for my wife too. They told us to ignore the 2nd notice.
After a long time(first time!) her LUD also got changed to 05/16. Hope all of
us are approved soon. Seems like we can initiate an inquiry also now since the
new AILA date shows 03/01/03 date.
Mani_007,
I feel the same way as you. I think it is better to appear on both days. Let us know how things go on the 12th. Actually my wife's is scheduled for 14th and 19th. So you are the first one.
Thanks.
My wife also got hers 4th FP notice for May 20th. I don't know what is going on. May be some kind of system error?
Muntasir and Mani_007, we will keep this thread alive for any future FP notices :)
I talked my lawyer last week about this and he told me that he USCIS will take the right index print and signature for the I-551 permanent residence card. Is that true? Do we need to tell the person in the counter that the notice is for biometric and not for FP.
I don't know what's going on. I see many approvals even for 10/2003 cases.
I-485 RD - 02/2003
ND - 04/2003
FP1 - 04/2003
FP2 - 11/2004
No updates from day one. I guess need to wait till the processing date becomes Feb'03 to initiate an inquiry.
This is a question which most of the people have. Will the processing be faster? I read in a thread where one user pointed out saying he took a risk of
giving an early FP since he thinks the officer may get mad by looking at the
fp2 date.
Somebody who had given their early FP can share...
