No they won't specify any date or time.You can walk in at any time (I think the INS working hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

We got our Green card stamped today.The process was pretty quick.We were all done and out of the office within 1 hour.They took all the parole documents and EAD along with the approal notice.So it's better to carry the documents you have related to INS with you while you go for stamping

I don't think you will need a transit visa to travel via Paris.We had taken the same flight last time. They didn't even ask us to step out of the flight at Paris.The cleanign crew came and cleaned the flight with the travellers on..

Hi all! I heard a rumour that all countries need to do special registration now onwards. We are planning to go to India tomorrow and I was wondering whether we need to do special registration at the airport? Any ideas?

Applied AP on august 2 nd.Received by INS on August 6th. Approved on Aug 19. Thank God!

It was done thru the lawyer and it was filed in NSC itself..But my friend who has applied on the same day hasn't received yet..So it all depends!

We had applied for AP on July last week and we got approval on August 6th.I really think God answered our prayers.If you had read my earlier postings we were planning to go to Local office for emergency parole next week .But luckily the case was approved within 10 days..Thank God!

Does anyone know the local office timings?

Ours is also NSC .. We just received our Receipt notice.Our lawyer mentioned to apply for parole first and then approach local INS offcie with receipt notice and valid docs for emergency situation.

If you have the receipt notice with you you can go to the local INS office and ask for an emergency parole.I have been told that they might issue one if you have an emergency.You might have to produce some valid documents as proof.I don't have any personal experience myself. We are on same...

How long would it take for INS to send receipt notice for AP?

Our Rfe was received in April by INS.But haven't heard anything after that yet. What is the longest time people had to wait to get their apporval after Rfe received?

We are also on the same boat.Our lawyer mentioned to apply for AP and then as soon as we get the reciept from INS,we could take that along with the valid document to local office to get the emergency AP. We are still waiting for the receipt notice from INS.will keep you posted
