Hi Everyone, received our cards y'day on 05-05-05. What a date and what a relieve. Our 485 was approved on 12/20/04.So it took 4.5 months to get the card. Not bad at all since we were prepared to hang on for 1 yr at least... Thanks to all and best of luck.

Armie, I've expressed my lawyers views here ... Since, there's no direct law or directive regarding job change after GC approval - quoted Murthy article does not make sense, with due respect of course. Every case is different... and generalizing all of them and making as if 6 month post...

You can change job as many times before I-485 approval and still be fine. Then why it'll be an issue if you change after gc approval? Those six months stay are all crap...
