Yes, that's right, we were fingerprinted for the first time 3 months ago, in May 2003. On the rupnet site there is another person with exactly the same RD, ND and FP dates as us, so we're not the only ones who had to wait. I wish I knew why they took so long to FP us!!:confused:

I don't know pingpong, but I really hope your theory is wrong, because our RD is March 2002 but we did not get FP until May 2003! :(

Thanks for your reply Joe - yes, we do have the receipt notice. We were looking at the BCIS site and it looks like he can apply online for his EAD so I think we'll try that.

We're in a similar situation. We filed our I-485 over a year ago (I-140 has been approved) and it's possible that my husband, who has an L1-A visa, may lose his job in the next round of redundancies at his work before the green card comes through. Would it be a good idea for him to apply...
