Just trying to share what I learnt from USCIS - United States Careless and Ignorant Services, during my 485 process.
- Never assume your case will be processed as others
- 800# is of little or no help
- AILA inquiry may be of some help.
- A visit to local uscis office is definitely...
I485 Approved for me and my family.
Details and efforts:
Filed sept 2002.
After a long wait and effort received FP notice on Jan 2005.
- followed up with 800# regularly until it turned to 'temporary problem....'
- followed up with USCIS office continuously using infopass
- followed up...
I have received FP notice. After seeing Andreab67 and myself, looks like they are sending FP notice to sep2002.
I pray for other 2002 filers waiting for FP.

So far processing time is not updated in aila website. Given TSC is pending for 08/31 and 09/15, I would think either the processing time will move too much (due to certain backlog reduction requirements) or not much at all (just being a typical TSC and don't want to update). As always, we will...
USCIS approved my 3rd AP renewal, but put the expiry date same as the current AP expiry date :confused: :mad: :mad: :mad:
Oh well... what can one expect from ignorant and arrogant idiots...
