Is it true that the new immigration reform (amnesty) bill under debate has a "Senate proposal that would cancel permanent residency applications filed after May 1, 2005" as mentioned in the following article?

Does PD for sub-labor apply
I thought the PD for sub-labor is the RD of I-140 and not that of the labor. Do you have data indicating the contrary?

Do Priority dates resume
Hi GP,
Do you know if the prority dates resume where they left off after the visas become available?
Ex:
In July priority date for EB2 for India was Jan 1st 2003
In Aug priority date for EB2 for India is Unavailable.
Would you expect
In Oct priority date for...
Will EB2 for India go Unavilable next month?
If so, when will they be available again?
Any clues if EB2 for India will move?
Have unused EB1s been used for other categories?

what are the effects of changing address to a different state (OR to AZ)while I-485 is pending.
I am gussing my PD will become current in June. If it does i'll probably stay put. But if they run out of visas for this year by end of April, then I may have to change jobs.

Did you guys send one too?
If so, I presume you have'nt heard from them yet.
I have heard that it takes anywhere between 3-6 weeks to get a response.

Does this mean that the PD is moved beyond July 1st 2002 as indicated by the current visa bulliten?
