AP at washington
Guys and Gals,
If I have to renew my AP (and my case is pending with washinton office), do I submit the forms to them ?
Has anyone done it yet ? (If so, please share the experience)
It's relatively straightforward with EAD, but not so clear (to me) with AP.

I don't think the local office has anything to do with FBI checks.
All they do is look you in the eye and make their decision.
The severe delays at Arlington office are due to the fact that it also handles asylum and refugee cases (these are handled by very few local offices). So...

What is supposed to happen at the 20 month mark? Do you have a feeling they are required to move the file out of their (BCIS)system after 20 months?
I'm sorry for asking all these questions - it's still "initial shock"

Does this mean that interview date is approx. 1 year from the transfer date.....or does it differ and has something to do with mysterious 20 months ?
