Also carry original 1-485 receipt notice. This is the advice I got from my lawyer. Incidentally she mailed me my original I-485 receipt for this purpose.
Do not post replies if you are not sure. It can be misleading. HIB is a dual intent visa. It is ok to work on HIB even though you have EAD as long as you have not used it.
I asked my lawyer if it is ok to travel. I have valid H1B visa and AP

We are advising our clients that now is not the time to travel. Consulates are closing down now due to imminent war, and
even though you may have all the proper documentation to re-enter, we can't guarantee...
SOME OF THE LEGAL FIRMS ARE ADVISING VISA HOLDERS NOT TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THE COUNTRY GIVEN CURRENT INTERNATIONAL SITUATION.
I am having H1B visa stamp as well as AP.
Does any one travelled recently or knew one who travelled and came back safely.
