May I ask what the start date is on your wife's new EAD? The renewal approval date or the expire date of the old EAD?

I efiled my 2nd EAD renewal on Nov 15th with CSC, and did the biometric two days later on the 17th. So far there is neither mailed receipt from USCIS nor LUD on my case either after Nov 15th. Is this normal? Anybody in the same boat? Thanks, xqg

Hi, Gurus, In our case the principle’s I-485 was approved in April 2005 but derivative’s I-485 is still pending due to name check. Is it safe for the principle to change job now? (different company, same job description same region) Will the derivative's case be impacted in any sense? Thanks.

After the USICS JIT date is 30 days past ND, can the applicant file an inquiry himself instead of through lawyer? What's the procedure? It's always hard to get my lawyer move so I would rather do it myself if possible. Your input is appreicated. Thanks!

CSC received my RFE response in December. No updates since then. Let us know if there is any progress in your case.

I got the same message on my I-140 status. I hope it is a positive sign. But for me nearly 7 weeks has past and no updates on either 140 or 485.

I'm glad that I can be helpful. I didn't do early FP because my appointment is only one week later. All I can tell is they are not busy on the day, with only 0-5 people in the line during the time I was there (around 1:00pm).

In my case both me and the lawyer received the letter, on about the same day. You need bring your copy to the appointment and they will keep it.

I read a few posts saying message from lawyer(s) is that the pilot program will only pick up cases received by Sep 30th.
