I had the same experiences before my case was approved. My case had been pending for two whole years. INS is a mess.
Actually asking for my friend. If the husband has his greencard approved and his wife's I-485 case is still pending, can the husband change his current job or lose his job without infringing the wife's application?
You need to write paper letters with your signatures

In my case, it seems to me that asking congressmen is more effective than senators and democrats are more effective than republican.
I got RFE response from INS. It says that I will have to wait for another 480 days. Before that, I waited 700 days for the so called 450 to 480 days.
Is there anything wrong?
