Hi, I moved to a new residence after getting the approval letter of I-485 and gave the new address while getting the passport stamped at SFO. I also sent AR-11 form. Called BCIS 1-800 number and gave the new address. Is there anything else I need to do to get the plastic card to the new address.

Hi all, I am still here like many of you with WAC01-270. No RFE yet. I wrote to congressaman but that did not help (nothing new I guess). Thinking of writing to senator. Do guys have any suggestions or advise whom to write or does it help. Feel frustrated

How about doing something like what folks with TSC did for random FP notices. They signed an on-line petition and I think it worked out for them.

Folks, I spoke to IIO last evening. She told that my case is assigned to an officer on Feb 19th and I should hear something withing 30 to 60 days. Chances are tt may get approved before that. Mine is 01-270 case and I did not get RFE so far. I feel a little optimistic here.

Told by lawyer not to call INS Cust service as they may note it down in the DB. But do any of you feel that calling helps in speeding up the process.

Hi all, My husband gave finger prints second time on Nov 18th 2002 and AVM changed after a few days to finger prints results rec'd on Nov 22 and processing resumed. Today morning, AVM changed to "finger prints results rec'd on Dec 13th and processing resumed. Does anyone know what's going on?

Hi I am going to India in Dec and I am going to use AP for rentry. My husband is going to enter using H1B. If our I-485 gets approved when we are in India, do we need to present the original I-485 approved papers at the Port of entry.
