How about applying for visitor visa for your spouse and then once they are in Canada apply for their immigration? I am not sure how easy it is to get visitor visa if u tell the consulate that you plan to apply for their PR once they are in Canada. Maybe someone can help you with that.

Hello, My friend in India has an expired I20 for some college, fortunately consulate didnt see that and granted her a visa. She has asked college for new I20, when she receives new I20 from the same college will she need to go and apply for the visa again?? Thanks

My company said they received my H1 3 days after it was approved. Somewhere around Nov 9th or so.

I heard it should happen immediately. online status says if not received in 14 days contact them, so my guess is definitely within 14 days we should have our H1.
