Thank you for your advice, antonl. I am considering to hire a lawyer. Do you have any idea what's the reasonable range for I-485 step? My previous lawyer charged me $800 for OR I-140, which looks very cheap, but he did nothing except for editing 3 reference letters for me. He didn't even write a...
My employer first filed EB1-OR for in Oct., 2002. Then my lawyer filed I-485 in Dec., 2002 associated with OR petition. Knowing that I have to move to a new job with my boss in Aug., 2003, I submitted NIW in Mar., 2003 by myself. My OR case got denied this Sept, so did my I-485 application. And...
My 140 and 485 case were denied. I don't know the reason, because the 140 was filed by my previous employer. I received the 485 denial letter from USCIS, which said 485 was denied because of I-140 denial.
Hi, IceTea
I just randomly browsed this website and found some rejections, not find OR being rejected yet. For example:
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=142011
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=141987
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=136329...
I checked the USCIS daily and found that there are two LUD updates during last 30 days, but without any status change. Is there anybody here has same experience? Does mean my Judgement Day will come soon? Hearing so many rejections recently, I am really nervous now. :(
Congratulations! RPB8260
Now only two people left without any news before the current processing date.
Oh. I just found the most unfortunate guy prlove. Hope that it's just because he forgot to update his approval.
Hi, Gegemon
I am working on H-1B visa with my new employer. My boss changed his job, so I changed with him. I don't know whether it will affect the pending I140/485 petitions. Actually I am even not sure whether my previous employer has withdrawed my I140 or not. I think both of our fates are...
I am jealous too. :( And worried. Because I have changed my job. I am lucky that my previous employer didn't withdraw my EB1-OR application. But I am worried that if I get an RFE, I will be dead.
Thank you very much, guys. People in this forum are really warm-hearted. Actually I did hire a lawyer in my OR case. But he helped me so little that I submitted my NIW all by myself.
It seems that now I can only wish that my OR application will get approved without RFE.
I applied EB1-OR at the end of last October. Later I submitted my I-485 application in December, 2002. Now I have to change my job at the end of this July. It seems that my current employer won't revoke my I-140 application because of my leaving. My question is:
(1) Should I inform BCIS that...
