Both I and my husband got approved last week, and I got my copy of approve letter yesterday, but nothing for my husband.
I remember when we did FP, we got copy for each of us, is it approve letter same, should he have his own with his own case number and name on it?
BTW, I am the primary...
I made calls to both senator's office and congressman's. In the first call, congressmen's assistant told me need to wait 30-60 days, then call them back. I don't think it will take that long to review a case since it has been assigned long time ago. I decided to call senator's office after this...
I just don't think about it, and tried to make it not affect my ordinary life. It's difinitly pain and long process, I don't want to go though again, but I learned something from it, more patience, self control, don't lean everything on one thing...
Not sure it's useful so far, but no harm to do that. The lady called INS at same time while I was on the phone with her, and she happily told me my case been assigned, and she told me my date is Nov instead of Sep, I just so tired to argu this issue over and over again.
I will call her is still...
You have companion, we are in the same boat. I contacted senator 3 weeks ago, they told me case been assigned to office already, need to wait 30-60 days. I think i need to do 2nd FP, since my FP is Feb 2002.
Don't get too panic, I believe sooner or later, we will get it!
RD:9/7/01
ND:11/8/01...
I called IIO this morning.
She told me my case is during process which I started heard same thing 5 months ago. And they are doing background checking, she can not give any information about expected date.
I just wonder which kind of background checking they need to do except the fringer...
I called them serveral months ago. The second time, maybe Oct, they told me my case been assigned to an officer.
Now still no news yet. The reason I think they havn't touched it, because it won't take them several months to review a case, the only possbility is that my case still been left...
Actually I called IIO several times, all of them told me the correct RD, Sep instead Nov.
But I have to agree one point, nobody touch our case yet, that's why no approve, no ref.
