Hi It took approximately 6 months for me to get an interview after I send the docs. My I-824 is not yet approved and I approached consulate directly. Timeline I dont really understand may be others in our forum can help you with theirs!! Good luck !!

Paul , I checked with Chennai consulate about Do I need to send packet III ? They said nothing (???) I need to send and just wait for them to schedule an interview and send an appointment letter. So I am simply waiting hoping for earlier interview date ! Ht.
