MANIAL, I suggest you call up INS I was stamped 2 weeks later than you, also at Philly, and my AVM status was updated to "Card Ordered" on 11/18. We are PR now, don't hesitate to call INS any more.

similar experience as HZ2002. Stamped on Thr. two weeks ago. "Luckily" that INS philly is open till 11am only that day. Got there around 8:30am, took pictures in a truck outside for $15 each person. Got ticket around 9am and started counting time vs. # of person called, and the line does not...

whoareyou, what does 'card ordered' mean - request to produce card sent to NSC or NSC mailed out the card? Thanks.

Thank you july16 and rav8tor! more details of my case: EB2-PA-CHINA. Called IIO once around 9/25 (also posted here) when I was told 'case in final stage of review'. Guess calling them really speeds things up!

Just checked online and found mine and wife's case approved today (10/7/02). No RFE or transfer.

I doubt the IIO is correct. VSC memo says they WILL issue RFE during audit. They have RFE backlog now, maybe that is why IIO asks you to wait 2 weeks.

congratulations, Manilal! As far as I learnt from this board and various attys' point of view, leaving current employer 1 year after approval is absolutely safe, while 6 month is what they recommend the minimum.

IIO said my case (RD 9/7/01) is under final stage of review with no decision yet. She refused to eloborate. Does it mean it is assigned?

it makes sense. they must be using a backup database for testing.
