I got approved on august 23, 2002. Received courtesy copy in 5 days, then took that copy, passport, 2 ADIT photos, I94 and went to Indianapolis INS office on Sept 10, 2002 and got it stamped. Waiting for the physical card, i have no idea about that process.... maybe the seniors and gurus may...

you can get it stamped anywhere. i have done that too. mine was filed in vsc from maryland, then changed address to NJ, but now after approval got it stamped in Indianapolis. I have no idea about the physical card as to how will it be processed.
