    I am in NIW too, but still waiting for the last moment. I140 ND April 16, 2002. Have EAD approved, FP done last Sept, changed to H1 from J1 recently.

    Are you EB2 or EB3? BTW, my friend called me his EB2 NIW was approved on May 19, 2003. He filed at July 2002.

    get H1B I had a friend just went to Boston loacal service to apply for interim EAD, been told such kind of service not provided anymore. So make sure you are still on H1B, who knows any change of EAD approval date ?
