Thank you - Flying123, my_gc_pain, MD_Rockville! my_gc_pain, I've applied for 4th EAD on May 31 (5 month ahead before expiration). I don 't think that it triggered anything. However, the pattern of LUD change in my approved I-140 was a little indication that something is going on.

sannams, vijrek - thank you! I have no idea when it was cleared. On January 1,2007, I received the response from USCIS on my SR (made sometimes in October 2006), that background checks are not completed and I should call after 6 month. Then it was transfer in TSC, then FP2, then no visa story...

Try this, may be it 'll work I remember from the past (485 issues in VSC) that somebody with similar missing FP notice went to ASC with the old one (the first one) and he/she was accepted to give FP after explanation of the problem. Can't tell you the thread, but may be you can search for it.
