    You might have the same issue as I do.. I hear the same message... My FP are unclassified, i.e. the FBI can't work with them. Either the INS support center did a lousy job getting your prints or your fingers are as smooth as a boiled egg. I wonder how in 21 century people can't take...

    Forget about 1 year treshold...

    It's just like the receipt says - 365-540 days. The processing really stumbled on the July 2001 and now, that the INS is processing less I-485 in a given period of time than there were filed in same period last year, it's taking longer and longer... Give it, INS, a credit; it tried to speed...

    It makes sence and... country of origin, too. On the Rupnet the choice of countries is unfortunately very small.

    Based on the numerous posts I saw here... it takes up to two weeks in most cases to have a RFE processed.
