At what rate is NSC processing I-485; i.e., how many months per each month are they processing? My PD is 2/97. My RD is 12/19/00 and ND is 12/28/00. Just trying to get the pace to understand approximately what time, I can expect the approval. Any clues will be greatly appreciated.

Say, one has got the EAD. The duration between filing I-485 and current time is more than 6 months, under the new law, can one leave the company and join another? If yes, what\'s the strings attached to it?

VSC:I mailed my 485/EAD/AP on 09/24/01. I have not yet received my receipts but I got my EAD card in mail today. Still the lawyer did not get the receipts. Very surprising for me also and good luck for everyone waiting.
