    Deported or inadmissible for shoplifting

I would not recommend applying for citizenship now. If you have a clean record until 2018, it is highly likely you will be denied. On a side note, the Great Wall of China is attributed to your country.

How to bring my new wife & adopted kids to US?

Well the Kids from the new marriage are not his, so the likelihood he was married to this lady previously is remote, in fact I did not even see that he was married before while in India.

Using passport card as an ID inside and outside the USA: your experience

I think the main issue with the passport card as compared to the DMV license or ID is that the passport card does not show the person's home address. Additionally, the main intention of passport cards is only to facilitate travel by road to Canada and Mexico and for the thousands of Americans...

Naturalization through marriage or through physical presence?

There is no upper limit for naturalization that would disqualify her. She can apply under the married to a US citizen for 3 years rule or the 5 year rule. The 5 year rule would require less documentation. She can also apply 90 days before she meets the 5 year requirement. Since she is below 75...

NOT SO GOOD INTERVIEW Continous residence - after interview requesting more documents... PLEASE HELP

I personally think the officer wants to help her. At the same time, his sixth sense is wondering is this marriage genuine. The OP has not been married for too long and to stay away for so long so soon after getting a green card seems a prudent check to make. I would thus suggest OP provide...

    Citizenship Interview with no Oath

The only problem is many countries such as India, Brazil and China require a paper visa on the passport and it takes a week or more by mail. China is even worse because the maximum length of their visa is only 1 year. India requires paper copy but has a 5 year visa. Australia requires an...

Cruise to Mexico on a passport card alone?

When on a Carribean Cruise the only time your passport is checked is when you enter the USA. Entering most of the Carribean countries they could not care less about your nationality. It is the cruise lines responsibility to provide ship manifest. I have done the Carribean Cruise but I never...

    Alabama's new law

I think this is more hot air by politicians. Very few main stream Americans understand the various immigration status's. Here in MN, they issue a driver's license for non citizens and Permanent Residents up to the validity of the immigration status. Thus, those H1Bs with annual renewals of of...

    Minneapolis/St. Paul MN - N-400 Timeline

I have never heard of them rescheduling. Bethel ceremonies can accommodate well over a 1000 applicants. Last time there were people from 77 countries. If YOU want to reschedule do it through a walk in inquiry at the local office. On another note, what are your dates? When did you have your...

    Minneapolis/St. Paul MN - N-400 Timeline

Just for the record, there were 707 citizens sworn at Bethel University at the last ceremony. All car parks were full. Getting out was tough. Go real early if your ceremony is at Bethel. Study the Bethel University map to understand where to park. One can get lost there with so many car parks...

as a naturalized US citizens, I don't need to notify anybody of address changes, right?

You will need to notify your state DMV for your driving license address change. If you travel overseas it is highly recommended to register with the US DOS and carry their 24 hour embassy number where Americans can be helped in emergencies.
