Departure / Re-entry record I was wondering if someone departs from Canada what is the process of keeping track of this person's departure / re-entry record. In that case how do they keep track of departures and re-entry's from US.

Welcome letter A welcome letter is just a letter that is generally sent prior to the greencard. It basically acknowledges that you have legally migrated and that your greencard is in process. My POE was JFK.
