I sent an email to the embassy asking them about the progress of my documents validation and they came back to me replying to my email that the visa has been issued and the passports are going to be sent the next two days:)
No questions asked, nothing about finances honestly not even one question. The only question that was asked is Did you ever lived in other countries before Australia?? and that was it:)
The ladies at level 10 will take your checklist with the supporting documents and will place it in plastic folder and as for the extra paper work that you have , you are allowed to take it with you in your own folder, they won't look at it. You will still take your own folders with you to level 56:)
There is no harm of sending an email to enquire about your case, that's what I've don personally yesterday and they replied Stright away saying my visa is ready, I have all our passports with me today (Tuesday) with the visa in them. I am sure it gonna be fine:)
Just to conclude from my personal experience common assault is not a CMIT. I went to the interview and the officer said its not a crime in America so guys relax if you do have it on your police check don't panic at all they didn't even question what happened :)

Did you pay $165 greencard fee to the USCIS, your receipt number is the number you could track for your greencard
