GC - 2007 (came to us)
went abroad to study 11 months
Came back to us and stayed 9 months

It doesnot matter how many months I have stayed in the US. If I have broken the continuity (i.e stay more than 1 year even though on reentry permit), I will have to wait for another 4 years and 1 months and still maintain my continuity in order to be eligible for citizenship ?

So even though I was out of the country for 20 months and 11 months, those 20 and 11 months will not count. But the time that i have been in the US will be counted towards my citizenship ? I will not have to start again and wait for 5 years right?

I have been a permanent resident green card holder since june 2007. But i gone to out to my country a few time.
Months since getting green card - 69
travel outside-
1 - 11 months
2 - 1.5 months
3- 3 months
4- 20 months (took permit)
total 35.5
still I have 33.5 months...
